Specifications and Inventory:

The entire structure was refurbished in 2001/2 with new white colourbond roofing iron.

New steel stumps were fitted and the building clad with colourbond mini-orb corrugated sheeting. The structure was renovated to cyclone standards.

New period style cedar window were fitted and fully screened.

The main lounge, bedroom and kitchen area a new recycled wooden floor has been laid and polished. In the bathroom the flooring is tiled. The front wall and the bedroom dividing walls are recycled timber.

The interior walls and ceiling have been insulated and a ‘whirlybird’ roof extractor fan fitted. The interior perimeter walls are all plasterboard.

The whole cottage is serviced by a reverse cycle split airconditioning system

The hot water system is electric.

The lounge contains a three piece cane lounge suite with a foldaway double bed/lounge.

The Dining area contains an antique wooden dining table and four director style chairs and antique chest of drawers for linen etc.

The Bedroom area contains a Queen size bed and fitted wardrobe with glass fronted sliding doors and two bedside tables and one clock radio.

There are several original works of art on the walls.

There is a TV with set-top box and separate radio/CD player. Excellent TV reception for all the free to air channels.

The kitchen is all new and modern cupboard and draw and fittings with double sink drainer. There is a fitted microwave oven and 4 plate electric cook top and dishwasher, front loading washing machine and fridge/freezer. There is a full inventory of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, glasses, toaster, jug and electric sandwich maker.

The bathroom is lined inside with colourbond miniorb corrugated iron and fitted out with a wooden vanity unit, toilet, glass paneled and curtained shower and large antique claw foot bath.

The cottage is connected to the mains sewerage system

The sheltered and covered back patio area has a barbeque.
